Pakistan Arm Wrestling Federation was founded by Farokh Shabbir on 14th August 2008, with a vision to build a structured and recognized platform for arm wrestling in Pakistan. The organization was established under the umbrella of the Asian Armwrestling Federation and the

World Armwrestling Federation, aligning itself with international standards from the very beginning.

In its early years, the federation laid the groundwork for the sport by organizing competitions, developing athletes, and creating awareness at both grassroots and professional levels. With steady growth and increasing participation, the federation became a central body for arm wrestling in the country.

On 14th August 2019, after more than a decade of progress, Pakistan Arm Wrestling Federation was restructured and rebranded as Pakistan Arm Wrestling Falcons. This transition reflected a renewed direction with an updated identity, modernized structure, and a stronger focus on performance, professionalism, and global integration. While the name evolved, the core mission, vision and values remained consistent.

PAWF maintains active coordination with international arm wrestling bodies, ensuring compliance with global rules, regulations, and best practices. This keeps Pakistani athletes connected with the evolving standards of the sport worldwide.

Beyond competitions, it serves as a community platform where athletes, enthusiasts, and supporters can connect, exchange ideas and stay informed about developments in arm wrestling both locally and internationally.
